If you’ve read any post on our Unruhly Blog, you know where our Unruh Furniture process begins: the showroom. There are a few reasons our business model is bent on this as a first step, but at the core . . . it’s personal. Like you, our team has experienced the typical furniture-buying process. And we all have stories we’d rather forget. Stories from furniture stores that came across cold and impersonal. Stories that ended with furniture we didn’t ask for or expect. Part of this reason is why we started Unruh in the first place.

Four Steps to Success
The best way to experience our showroom is live and in-person! But we understand you might have some questions beforehand. In an effort to answer some of your first thoughts and questions, here are four main steps to keep in mind before an Unruh showroom experience of your own.
Showroom appointments typically last 30-45 minutes for you convenience. Although we normally hit it off with many customers (and could probably talk for hours!) We more than anything want to honor and respect your time. And our time together is anything but a “rush” as we zero in on your need(s) with focus and detail.
What to Bring
Other than the most important thing – yourself – it’s helpful to bring room measurements and floor plans so that we can hone in on the specific size of your furniture. In addition, feel free to bring any finish or fabric options from your home – anything that might help us determine the best wood option for your furniture and home.
Can’t Rush Perfection
We know . . . it’s cliche. However, we know you have an alternative option: another furniture store you could visit and walk away with furniture on the same day. But we are firm believers in delayed gratification. Especially if it means furniture you receive for a lifetime! From the day you book an order to the day it’s ready for delivery/pickup you are looking at 10 – 12 weeks. And of course you are always welcome to check in with us on the status and timing of your order. And if you’re in a big hurry make sure to ask about our Rush Fee.
This is the last step of our Unruh showroom process. And it’s arguably the most important. You and your family worked extremely hard to save up for quality furniture. You deserve this! More importantly, we hope you view or furniture as more than “filler” in your home. This is a happy addition meant to give life to any room.
