As mentioned above, the counter height table is a big fashion trend. It makes the home look modern, yet in a very simple way. When you are going for a touch of modern, it’s a perfect design solution. This design element is very effortless, but can have a big impact on your space. So, if you are looking for a small touch of modern style, go for the counter height table.

Pro: Less Wear and Tear
If you have pets, your counter height table will experience much less wear and tear. With lower tables, big dogs can find a way to scratch them with their collars. They can also reach the tabletop if the dog is tall enough! So, a counter height table is a great solution if your pets have a tendency to help themselves to your table (and the goodies on it).

Con: Difficult for Small Kids
A con of counter height tables is that they are difficult for small kids to eat at them. The table may be too high for them to climb on the chairs. So, this will require you to help them up at dinnertime. Also, there are few highchairs that suit counter height tables. This may be a problem if you still have kids who use highchairs to eat. If you do still have small children at home, or are hoping to have more, we recommend holding off on investing in your counter height table, and getting a more suitable one.
Con: Hard to Find
Counter height tables can be very hard to find. Not to mention, if you do find one, it may not actually be the height of your counter! As mentioned above, it can be hard to find a table that is truly the same height as your counter.
